Brother reset gear for TN2000 toner cartridge OEM supplied Brother TN2000 & TN350 starter cartridges* do not have a reset flag gear installed. The reset gear must be installed in order for the printer to function properly, once the cartridge has been refilled with toner and re installed in the printer. *A starter cartridge is the cartridge that came free with your printer. If you purchase the cartridge separately from your printer, you will not require this reset gear. Resetting your Brother TN2000 / TN350 Toner Starter Cartridge is easy. You will simply need to reset the flag gear in order to reset the cartridge. The printer displays a ""toner life end"" message when empty, or if no reset gear is detected - after refilling.
